Don Imholz

Mr. Don Imholz is a business executive/leader with diverse experience in Operations and IT, extensive Board involvement, and a strong track record of creating sustainable competitive advantage. His expertise in cybersecurity, big data, digital transformation, and lean thinking has informed much of his work. He has led organizations that consistently benchmarked in the top quartile, created competitive/breakthrough strategies for high-growth, embryonic, and large-scale turn-around environments, anticipated future consequences and identified technology trend inflection points.

As Director of Casenet, Mr. Imholz steered the Company from early stage to maturity, helping with Centene’s acquisition. As founding Board member of Centurion, he steered it from start-up with zero revenue to a foot print in 5 states and a revenue of several hundred million dollars. He currently serves on boards of several non-profit organizations and is a Member of the Leadership Council for the UMSL Business School.

As EVP, Operations and CIO for Centene, he supported business growth from $3B to $21B+ in 7 years, moving it from niche to industry-leader position, and helping Centene become a leader in digital engagement, business analytics, and cybersecurity.

Earlier, he founded/led his own consulting firm, serving education, health care, technology, and finance-sector clients.

Previously, Mr. Imholz worked for The Boeing Company in diverse executive roles in management, finance, manufacturing, engineering, and all IT areas. Originally part of McDonnell Douglas, he was made CIO of the Defense business post merger and advanced to the number two person in IT, leading a 5,000+ people organization and a $1b+ budget.

He earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of Missouri, a Master in IS as well as an MBA from Washington University, and completed executive training courses at Wharton, the Kellogg School, and Washington University.
