David Christenson joined BioGenerator as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence in 2015 focusing primarily on healthcare and specifically in information technology, care delivery and payment, and services. Over a 30-year career, David has developed a substantive background in executive leadership, sales and marketing, strategy development and execution, product development, new business development.

He was a founding partner of Saint Louis-based LDM Group LLC, the market leader in direct-to-patient and direct-to-physician communications whose customers included Pfizer, Merck, Costco, Albertsons, Allscripts, and NextGen. Additionally, he is the co-inventor of six (6) issued patents covering multiple aspects of the LDM Group technology platform. In 2014, he spearheaded on behalf of the co-founders the eventual sale of LDM Group to Lee Equity Partners of New York, NY.

Prior to forming the LDM Group, David was at Catalina Marketing for four years where he first led the corporate acquisition and venturing initiatives and later built Catalina Health Resource’s direct-to-patient business entry in the ambulatory and acute care settings. Prior to Catalina, he served as a strategy consultant for The Wilkerson Group working with pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies on product market entry, M&A, and business strategy. He also has worked in marketing for Guidant Corporation and started in financial planning for health systems and insurers.

David earned his BA in economics from Carleton College and MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
