Using state-of-the-art cell culture techniques, Higher Steaks is growing high-quality meats using just small samples of animal cells, feeding them a rich and animal-free growth media. The meats created using this technology do not require the use any antibiotics and are produced under clean conditions reducing the risk of food-borne diseases, and a single blood sample could allow indefinite production of many meat products. What’s more, cell-based meat has the potential to reduce CO2 emission and land and water usage.
